Approaching our initial design concept as an effort to achieve a simplistic and practical proposal, we turned our heads to researching into various materiality that will aid in softening the interiors while attempting to allow as much natural light into the given space possible. Gaining inspiration from the trees and foliage from the street frontage, timber elements were used to soften the interior space; providing a sense of retreat and comfort to guests and working staff alike.
The usage of timber was also evident to help reduce the sound reverberations in more private spaces whilst accents of the firm\’s chosen colours help enhance the space to achieve a sense of uniqueness to the project. An angled lowered plasterboard ceiling helps break away from the conventional, creating an experience as one passes through from the reception to the work spaces and to the display suite whilst also providing a more private feel to the meeting rooms. Finally, accents of the New York Marble slabs aid in breaking down the chosen solid colours; concluding this design methodology that affirms a respectable finished production.
