Situated in immediate distance to The Glen Shopping Centre in Glen Waverley, this apartment design responds to the undulated landscape that is most evident within the suburb. We translated the landscape features into an angular motive that pushes and pulls the elements, creating a cohesive and definitive addition to the High Street Road location. Boxed out windows juxtapose with the sheer lines to give the building its unmistakable look. The design also acknowledges the existing materials that are evident in the surrounding streetscape, blending timber and stone into the façade. The outcome is a modern architectural accomplishment - practical yet completely individual.
